PopSugar Must Have Box UNBOXING - June

Beauty, Life, Fashion, HairChristine Comment

Hey guys! So I recently received my first POPSUGAR Must Have Box!!! The June box was all about getting out this summer. I have been wanting one of these for the past year...since they started. I about had a heart attack when it came in!

If you don't know about PopSugar...have you been living under a rock???

I have been watching their fashion and beauty channels for a while now and have been obsessed with them. They pretty much are like E News on YouTube. They cover everything from fashion dilemmas and skin problems to the latest celebrity craze.

After all this time I am still obsessed and I know you all will love them! Click Here to find out more!

I put together a video to show you my first impression of the box, meaning, I show you me opening it for the first time. Click the play button above to see!

This image is from www.musthave.popsugar.com, which shows the June Must Have Box goodies!

The POPSUGAR Must Have Box is a monthly subscription of $39.95 a month. There are a lot of monthly subscription boxes out there but none that I have found which gives only full sizes.

It seems like I am starting a trend with $39.95 monthly subscriptions. JustFab and now PopSugar.

Scroll down to see the items in the June Must Have Box as well as the prices of the items and the worth of the box as a whole.

The first item I saw was this big beautiful book called The One and Only by Emily Griffin. It retails for $28. Almost the full price of the box. Click the image above to purchase!

Quoted from emilygriffin.com

In her eagerly awaited new novel, beloved New York Times bestselling author Emily Giffin returns with an extraordinary story of love and loyalty—and an unconventional heroine struggling to reconcile both.

Thirty-three-year-old Shea Rigsby has spent her entire life in Walker, Texas—a small college town that lives and dies by football, a passion she unabashedly shares. Raised alongside her best friend, Lucy, the daughter of Walker’s legendary head coach, Clive Carr, Shea was too devoted to her hometown team to leave. Instead she stayed in Walker for college, even taking a job in the university athletic department after graduation, where she has remained for more than a decade.

But when an unexpected tragedy strikes the tight-knit Walker community, Shea’s comfortable world is upended, and she begins to wonder if the life she’s chosen is really enough for her. As she finally gives up her safety net to set out on an unexpected path, Shea discovers unsettling truths about the people and things she has always trusted most—and is forced to confront her deepest desires, fears, and secrets.

Thoughtful, funny, and brilliantly observed, The One and Only is a luminous novel about finding your passion, following your heart, and, most of all, believing in something bigger than yourself . . . the one and only thing that truly makes life worth living.

The You Smell Lemon Wet Wipes are really nice. They retail for about $6. Do not fear it doesn't smell like a WalMart bathroom. Instead it surprisingly is a "warm" natural lemon scent. Not a tangy faux lemon scent. The wipe itself is just like a cloth wipe and carries the perfect amount of moisture. In other words it gets the job done!

Sachajuan...do not ask me how to pronounce that because I will butcher it. Any who...Sachajuan Shiny Citrus Body lotion is very elegant smelling. It retails for $24. It isn't as fruity as the name indicates but it is nice. I have been using it for the past few days and it appears to be a nice summer time lotion. It absorbs will into the skin and it leaves your skin feeling hydrated and fresh...not greasy and clogged.

The website says it is made of Swedish oats and that it reduces the appearance of wrinkles. It also claims to calm irritation. I can not vouch for any of these but it is a great lotion for after a shave.

The only thing I would change is for it to actually smell like citrus.

Oh hair ties...first the single knotted ties and now these. I am not quite sure what they are called but now braided ones. I will say I like how these look like they are expensive vs. the others which just look cheap.

I like that they give a color range and I like the difference of the braid with the golden ring. It looks different...in a good way.

I bet you didn't know or ever could have guessed that these are made out of swim wear...

They seem very durable and great to wear on your wrist for an emergency.  Yes I said emergency because they hardly stretch enough to fit around my ponytail. I have thick and long hair meaning I need an elastic that can hold up the goods. This I am not so sure since it is so resistant to stretching.

However, I can see how it is great for the beach or the pool to just pull your hair back off your face. They retail for $8

The Turkish-T Beach Towel retails for $32 dollars. I love it not for a beach towel but for a lawn blanket. After taking this picture I laid it out on the lawn in the background and read the first chapter of The One & Only. It was soft to the touch but light on the grass. It was also a lot longer then I originally thought.

I can see myself carrying this on a plane or on a road trip for a light blanket/pillow/scarf. Also if I can get myself to the beach I will use it for its intended use which is as a beach towel or cover up.

The color and print is gorgeous and classic.

WHOA that is a huge picture haha!

Can you tell what was my favorite thing?

This is the One Potato Two Potato Hawaiian BBQ Potato Chips, which retail for $2.

The name is very fitting because they are first smoky (BBQ) then comes the tang (Hawaiian) and at the very end you get a punch of heat (BBQ). I love it! The flavor is amazing as well. I have only had the onion ones and they were delicious. The texture is of a thicker lays potato chip with a lot less grease and horrible chemicals.

All in all, I would love to sign up for a monthly subscription of this box because of the following reasons:

  1. The box costs $39.95 a month, very affordable.
  2. This (June) box was worth $115, a lot more then you spend.
  3. It came very quickly.
  4. It was wrapped beautifully.
  5. Only full sized items.
  6. Great variety of products.
  7. All of the products tell a complete story.
  8. I was introduced to mostly all new products.
  9. Amazing customer service.
  10. I loved all of the items I received.

Let me know in the comments below if you enjoy this type of post and also let me know if you have ever tried out POPSUGAr or another monthly subscriptions! I look forward to hearing form you!

<3 Christine
